UV-C LIGHTING
Disinfect air, water and surfaces to reduce the risk of infection from SARS-CoV-2 and other bacteria and viruses.
UVC germicidal lighting refers to a special light that operates on a particular wavelength to deactivate bacteria and viruses so they cannot harm humans or animals.
Ultraviolet (UVC) light is invisible to human eyes. The wavelength used in our UVC units is 254 nm UV

Protect your space with UV-C germicidal lighting, the cutting-edge solution for air and surface disinfection. Using powerful UV-C technology, these lights inactivate up to 99.99% of airborne and surface pathogens, including viruses and bacteria, within minutes. Ideal for hospitals, schools, offices, and public spaces, UV-C germicidal lighting continuously sanitizes the environment, helping reduce infection risks and create a healthier, safer atmosphere. Our UV-C solutions provide reliable, efficient disinfection without harmful chemicals. Transform your space with advanced UV-C technology for peace of mind and proactive protection.
Basic air ventilation typically requires up to 6 air changes per hour (ACH) to provide fresh air, manage humidity, and reduce odors and CO2 levels. However, each air change only lowers pathogen levels by about 63%. Simply opening a window, which provides 1-2 ACH, won’t effectively eliminate pathogens and may impact comfort. Increasing ventilation to 15-20 ACH is a well-regarded approach to reduce pathogens and lower health risks. A highly effective way to achieve this is through UV-C air ventilation systems and indoor climate solutions, such as Philips UV-C luminaires, designed to meet optimal levels for air and surface disinfection. In fact, our UV-C air disinfection testing demonstrated that 99.99% of the SARS-CoV-2 virus was neutralized in just 10 minutes—equivalent to 50 ACH.
