The University of West London (UWL) implemented a decarbonisation project aimed at achieving net zero carbon emissions by 2030.
As part of a broader range of decarbonisation measures encompassing various renewable energy sources and technologies, L McCann Electrical were responsible for LED lighting upgrades across 2 University campuses. The overall project was estimated to reduce over 500 tonnes of CO2 annually, achieving the highly commended designation in the Decarbonisation Project category of the Energy Managers Association’s (EMA) Energy Management Awards.
